Senior Counterintelligence Advisor

Location: Arlington, VA

We provide specialized solutions to agencies of the US Intelligence Community, military Special Operations Forces, and other national security partners. Our Advisory practice executes customers’ intelligence and advanced research missions globally, while our Training practice delivers cutting edge tradecraft training to select organizations.

Job Purpose: The Senior Counterintelligence Advisor acts as an on-site, internal consultant with a US Government client.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with client senior management to translate global strategy into tactical execution.
  • Conceptualize, coordinate, resource and execute projects in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.
  • Serve as a mentor, assisting colleagues with client-specific intangible issues, writing conventions, ideation and implementation issues.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Active US Government TS/SCI with polygraph. Applicants without the required clearance will not be considered.
  • USG Ops certification.
  • 12-20 years of experience in client-specific global National Security issues.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Washington, DC area
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience drafting formal correspondence to the foreign field using client-specific software

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • This is a customer-facing position representing FRDA to client senior executives. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Demonstrated people and program management experience
  • Experience with common desktop applications and client-specific research tools
  • Highly motivated, self-starter personality with demonstrated ability to spot new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives
  • A friendly and collaborative attitude; ability to work well independently and in groups with minimal supervision; ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace client oversight at all levels and balance competing demands
  • Additional client-specific required qualifications will be discussed with appropriate candidates
